1. Born in Putnam Valley, New York on January 6, 1981 2. Completed his Elementary studies in Patchogue SDA School, Whispering Pines SDA School and Pearl River SDA School where he graduated from eight grade. 3. Went to study in Colegio del Pacifico, (Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico) for 9th Grade where he graduated from “Secondary School” with the Highest Academic Honors. (3.99 GPA) (1996-1997) a. Skills and achievements acquired include: i. President of the graduating class ii. Chemistry Lab assistant 1. In charge of setting up labs and exercises for all students including those of university level. iii. Typing class assistant 1. In charge of regulating typing labs and exercises for all students. iv. Member of the school band 1. Percussion v. Teacher’s Corrector 1. Learned spreadsheet grading and student record’s keeping. vi. Piano Studies 1. Has played the piano since he was 6 years of age. 4. Studied in Oklahoma SDA Academy for both 10th and 11th grades. (1997-1999) a. Skills and achievements acquired include: i. Cook’s assistant 1. In charge of preparing full meals and menu’s for student body and faculty. *Cooking has always been hobby for Joshua. ii. Child Daycare Employee 1. Thorough experience acquired of childcare with ages ranging from Infants, and children ages1-14. 2. (Included section management and activity planning, eating time, play time, sleep time, worship time, when applicable even diaper changing time ... etc.) 3. Main section of work were the “After School” children. iii. Elementary School Teacher’s Assistant 1. Worked with the older faculty children at the local elementary school. 2. Work included: Categorizing and organizing a library, Physical Education, Arts and crafts, English and work correcting. iv. Choir/Chorale member 1. Member of both the Choir and advanced Chorale singing groups. 2. Took Voice Lessons. *Bass v. Bell-Choir 1. Member of the esteemed Bell-choir for one year. vi. Continued Piano Studies 1. Continued Advanced Piano Studies. vii. RA *Residents Assistant 1. Was chosen as Dean’s assistant to guide and implement “Study Hall” and serve as both leader and spokesman for the boys of Oklahoma Academy. viii. Engaged in Canvassing (“Colpourting”) ix. Excelled in Academic Studies with a 3.86 GPA overall. 5. Passed the General Education Development test and proceeded to Major in Theology (*Began a Minor in Music) at Antillean Adventist University, (Mayagüez, Puerto Rico) (2000-2004) a. Skills and Achievements acquired: i. Faithful member of both the University and the Pro-Music choirs. 1. Tours in Florida and New York. ii. Member of the University Band 1. Percussion/Trumpet iii. Served as Pastor’s assistant at university church for two years. 1. Services included among other things, Deacon organizer and instructor, Graphic Designer for power-point presentations etc. iv. Assistant Pastor of Mayagüez 3 Spanish church. v. Assistant Pastor and Leader of Guayanilla Spanish church vi. Biblical Greek and Hebrew Tutor 1. Excelled in Biblical Greek, therefore became the Greek corrector and Substitute Teacher. vii. Corrector for Theology department. viii. Math/English Tutor. ix. Received Theology Department Student of the Year award twice - 2003/2004. x. Continued Piano Studies 1. Awarded First prize for piano playing in Music competition. 2. Also taught Piano lessons. xi. Served as University Church Pianist xii. Awarded Most Valuable Player in School Olympics 1. First prizes in 100/200/4x100 Meters running competitions. As well as First Prizes in Table Tennis and Team Soccer. Second Place for team Basketball selection. xiii. Participant in Intramurals Soccer/Basketball xiv. Member of Graduating class committee as vocal. xv. Excelled in Academic Studies – 1. Graduated with a Bachelors in Theology - Suma Cum Laude (3.97 GPA) 6. Currently working on a Master’s in Religious Education at the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies in Silang, Cavite Philippines. a. Involved in youth leadership and Bible studies. b. Teaching English at the AIIAS Elementary School. c. English tutor during off hours.
